With the ability to position the plow in V, straight or scoop mode, plowing snow with the X-Vp v-plow takes you to the next level. Whether busting through a long driveway or clearing a parking lot full of cars, the X-Vp v-plow makes quick work of brutal winter conditions.
This mod has been a bit of a pain in the you know what. Probably my lack of knowledge around game physics but I’ve improved the mod slightly by separating into different components. It is still very shifty when pushing a lot of snow, so I’ll need to do a deeper dive into it when I get more time. But I like how this feels for now.

Does it work with other trucks that accept plows or is this setup to work only with your 2020 super duty?
it has its own attacher Joint. Other truck mods would need to be set up accordingly to use it. I only know of my super duty at this time.
I noticed it last night, and fix the plow attacher so its setup to be universal like every other truck/plow
Its not a universal mod. It may not work properly on other trucks. I don't test with 3rd party mods. But there are plenty of plows out there for use with other trucks.
how do I get it into my game
same as any other mod. Place the downloaded file in your games mod folder.
I've tried everything I can to edit the xml and modDesc and can't get this to be universally attachable (I don't know what I'm forgetting now). Any chance you can share what you changed
Its not made to be universally attachable. but you can try changing the jointType name to skidSteer in the plow's XML. then it should be able to connect to other trucks that have the plow attacher available. from there, you will most likely have to make adjustments to the attacher joint in Giants Editor to accomadate the v-plow.
Yeah, I’ve done all this and no joy. Literally at a loss cause I’ve done this editing with others and it’s worked fine, but for whatever reason I’ve gone thru it all about 5 times now and can’t figure out what’s preventing it. Oh well. Is what it is.
